          Profile

One of the most important factors to consider when choosing windows is the window profile. Firstly, it’s worth considering the type of profiles we prefer, as the shape and color of the profiles affect their appearance. The construction of the profile determines various important window properties, such as thermal insulation and security features.

Aluminium profiles are lightweight and resistant to weather conditions.

Available brands: Aluprof, Ponzio.

Wooden window profiles are highly valued for their natural beauty and character. Wood is a warm and environmentally friendly material, which attracts many customers. Additionally, wooden window profiles are easy to paint or treat, allowing for customization to match the interior design. The high thermal and acoustic insulation of wooden window profiles makes them an ideal choice for those seeking energy-efficient and soundproof windows.

          Glass

The task of window glass goes beyond letting daylight into the building; it primarily involves protecting the rooms from heat loss, noise, and intrusion to ensure comfort and safety. Window glass can be categorized based on the number of panes, types of glass, and glass options available. There is the option to use glass with enhanced sound insulation, tempered glass, safety glass, security glass, and sun protection glass. Additionally, decorative glass can be applied to add aesthetic appeal and enhance the interior.

          Fittings

Door fittings, including handles and hinges, are essential for the functioning and security of doors. Handles provide ergonomic and stylish means of opening and closing doors, while hinges enable smooth movement and stability. Security features like multi-point locks and access control systems enhance door security. Adjustable fittings ensure proper alignment and weather sealing. Choosing and installing door fittings carefully is crucial for durability, functionality, and aesthetics.

Additional Information

The RAL color chart offers a wide range of colors for aluminum windows. RAL is a color code system that is commonly used in various industries, including the production of aluminum windows. This system allows for precise specification of the desired color that will be applied to the aluminum window frames.

The color palette for aluminum windows is so extensive that there is something for everyone, whether they prefer traditional solutions or unique, custom color finishes. We can match them to the color of the facade, roof covering, or other metal elements such as doors or gates: both entrance and garage doors. Based on our customers’ needs, we offer a wide range of colors. For customers looking for doors in various colors, we have prepared a painting offer from the RAL color chart.

Single-pane glass

Single-pane glass (typically used in internal constructions), which is usually either laminated (VSG) or toughened (ESG) for safety reasons.

Laminated glass (VSG) is composed of two or more layers of glass bonded together with a flexible interlayer of adhesive. This construction makes laminated glass more durable and resilient. In the event of breakage, the glass fragments remain adhered to the interlayer, minimizing the risk of injuries. Laminated glass is commonly used in areas where there is a high risk of accidents, such as glass doors, protective walls, balustrades, and also as a decorative element.

Toughened glass (ESG) is glass that has undergone a process called thermal tempering. This process involves heating the glass to a high temperature and then rapidly cooling it. It strengthens the glass and enhances its resistance to impact and mechanical stress. Toughened glass is much more resistant to breakage than standard glass. In the event of breakage, toughened glass shatters into small, safe pieces with minimal sharp edges, reducing the risk of serious injuries.

The choice between laminated and toughened glass depends on specific safety requirements and the intended application. Both options provide additional protection and reduce the risk of severe damage in case of glass breakage.

Single-glazed units

We have single-glazed units (commonly used in interior applications) which are typically either laminated (VSG) or toughened (ESG) for safety reasons.

Single-glazed units consist of a single layer of glass and are often used in situations where thermal insulation is not a primary concern, such as internal partitions or decorative applications. Laminated glass offers enhanced safety and security by bonding two or more glass layers together with an interlayer, while toughened glass is heat-treated to increase its strength and resistance to breakage.

These single-glazed units provide basic protection and meet specific requirements for safety, such as preventing the glass from shattering into sharp pieces when broken. They are suitable for applications where thermal insulation is not a priority and where other factors like safety, security, or sound reduction take precedence.

Please note that the choice of glazing should be based on the specific requirements of your project and comply with relevant regulations and standards.

Double-glazed units

We have double-glazed units, which offer improved thermal insulation and energy efficiency compared to single-glazed units. Double-glazed units consist of two glass panes separated by a spacer bar, creating a sealed air or gas-filled space between them.

The two glass panes are typically made of float glass, and the space between them can vary in width, often ranging from 12 to 20 mm. The spacer bar is responsible for maintaining the distance between the glass panes and can be made of materials such as aluminum or synthetic materials.

The air or gas-filled space between the glass panes provides enhanced insulation by reducing heat transfer and minimizing condensation. It acts as a barrier, reducing the transfer of heat from the inside to the outside or vice versa, depending on the climate conditions. Additionally, the sealed unit helps improve sound insulation, reducing external noise penetration.

Double-glazed units are widely used in windows and doors to improve energy efficiency, reduce heating and cooling costs, and enhance comfort within the building. They are available in various configurations and can be customized to meet specific requirements for thermal performance, acoustic insulation, and safety.

It’s important to note that the choice of glass type, spacer material, and gas filling (if applicable) can further optimize the performance of double-glazed units, depending on the specific needs of your project and local regulations or standards.

Safety Glass

Safety glass, such as tempered (ESG) and laminated (VSG) glass, provides enhanced safety due to increased strength and resistance to damage. Tempered glass is thermally strengthened and breaks into dull pieces, minimizing the risk of injuries. Laminated glass consists of multiple layers bonded with a laminate, keeping the glass intact even when cracked. Safety glass is used in various applications to protect against cuts, break-ins, and provide acoustic and thermal insulation.

Soundproof Glass

Soundproof windows are specially designed to reduce the transmission of external noise into interior spaces. They employ various technologies and materials that absorb or deflect sound waves, contributing to improved acoustics inside buildings. Soundproof windows are an effective solution in areas with high noise levels, such as busy streets, airports, or near other sources of noise. They allow for significant noise reduction, creating a peaceful and comfortable environment inside the rooms.

Decorative Glass

Decorative glass is a special type of glass that adds aesthetics and character to interior spaces. It is often used to enhance visual appeal and introduce artistic effects to rooms. Decorative glass can have various patterns, textures, and shapes, giving a unique look to windows, doors, partitions, or other glass elements. It can also be used to provide privacy, control the flow of light, or create optical effects. Decorative glass offers an excellent option for those seeking unconventional and original solutions in interior design.
